Product of the Day!

Doing a double feature today! Because well, I like both of the products... Company: Blomus Location: Germany Materials: Stainless Steel Description: Blomus aims to harmonise form and function to create special products for everyday life. For Blomus design is not an end in itself but an important part of everyday life. One of our favorite wine tools with long wine pull, foil knife and bottle opener - all in one. And, the weight of the stainless steel makes it seem like you spent a whole lot more! This is the most heavy duty bottle opener I have ever held. I just know that it would work amazingly. It has a cap opener, cork opener and a small knife to peel off the seal. Company: Blomus Location: Germany Materials: Stainless Steel Description: Blomus aims to harmonise form and function to create special products for everyday life. For Blomus design is not an end in itself but an important part of everyday life. One of our favorite party gifts! Stainless steel cheese slicer with an extra slicing cord. This product is the one I have seen the most people buy. I don't really understand it. Wait, yes I do! Cutting cheese with a knife can be frustrating!

Beautiful wedding, Groom's ring

One of our clients kindly emailed us a link to a feature of their beautiful wedding which included a mention of the Groom's ring from Relish! Take a look!

White Lunette is a sewn fiberglass paper lampshade that clips onto a bare light bulb. Lunette can be used as a ceiling, wall or table fixture. I love simple solutions to big problems. Granted, a bare light bulb is not the end of the world, but it is always amazing to be able to cover up something ugly and make it pretty!... We have lots of these in the store so come on in or if you can't make it, check them out online as well.

Brand: Jonathan Langston Artist: Jonathan Langston Location: Portland, Oregon Jonathan Langston is an alumni of the Oregon College of Art and Craft. His studio is located at the Ford Building in SE Portland. Jonathan begins with a 2D design on paper. Each form is first hand-thrown. A mold is then taken of the original to be used for slip casting, allowing Jonathan to work with duplicates. This process provides opportunity to alter each piece individually while staying true to the original form. The vessels become uniformly distinct. *All of these vases at first glance seem similar, but when you look closely each one has their own characteristics! Actually, Jonathan just came in the store and brought in some more vases, pink and blue ones to be exact. My favorite is that pewter one on the right!

Company: Stubbornworks Designer: Melissa Stiles Location: Portland, Oregon
This jewelry is made from a Portland designer, Melissa Stiles. Her work is made from brushed aluminum, stainless steel, and silver. Filled with vibrant resins in modern designs and patterns. Her work is seriously beautiful. Clean lines, simple designs with a huge impact. When I first saw these earrings I thought they would be heavy, but I was oh so wrong. So light! They are a very unique design. Come in and get them before I do!

What can I say, these are so pretty! Some of the most unique ceramic ware I have seen. I love the bold colors and how they are offset by their white exteriors. And using a pastry bag to make the spikes? Genius! Brand: Leah Nobilette Artist: Leah Nobilette Location: Portland, Oregon Work: hand-made ceramics in 2006. Functional and food-safe, yet beautifully designed ceramic bowls with a spikey exterior, extruded through a pastry bag! Great as a gift, centerpiece or nested in color.
