The relaxed, direct in character, indirect-looking shape of the glasses, combined with Marimekko's characteristic multicolor, take a stance against formalized thinking. Like a person with his or her socks rolled down, Penttinen's glasses are natural and liberated, self-assured individuals.
*Marimekko does glassware, what?! I really need to keep up with this company more. Every time something new comes into the store I am surprised by what they have come up with. I love love love these retro style glasses, shown here in amber and grey. They are comfortable to hold. They would be great for a nice cocktail or a drink of water before bed.
